Doug H with a 2022 Iowa Booner at BCO

Here is a giant main framed eight point from one of my Iowa properties that grossed Boone taken by Doug Hampton during the 2022 muzzleloader season.  I actually first got this property late in the summer of 2022.  This property has great neighbors and is in a very heavily managed area.  Getting this property late in the summer, I wasn't able to get it set up for the fall like I would have liked so I decided to let one bow hunter and one muzzleloader hunt the property for each of those seasons respectively.  Going forward and starting in 2023 I would set the property up with stands and food plots and then do the same and let one bowhunter hunt the property for the season and one muzzleloader hunter hunt the property for the season.  Again, with getting the property so late in the year, I did not set the property up with stands for the 2022 season and that was going to be on the hunters who were hunting the property that year.  They started getting pictures of this buck during the archery season but my hunter then could not catch up to him.  Doug was going to hunt the property muzzleloader season and asked me to leave crop standing on the property so I got a hold of the farmer and we left beans standing on the property for late season.  A good cold front and snow in December brought this guy to our standing bean plot and Doug made a perfect shot on this impressive buck!!   Starting in 2023 I did set the property up with all the archery stands and blinds for muzzleloader season.  I have put a 155" minimum on this property and will be booking one bow hunter for the season and he or she can hunt the property for the whole season.  Property is all set up and ready to hunt.  I also will be booking one muzzleoader hunter and he or she gets to hunt the property for the whole season and I will be leaving standing grain on the property like we did for Doug's hunt.  Feel free to contact me for more details on the hunts provided on this property.
