Iowa Gear List and General Info
- Bow, arrows, broadheads, practice points, realease
- Gun and proper ammunition (for those
booked for a gun or muzzleloader hunt) - Safety Harness and Vest (You will not be allowed to hunt without a safety harness)
- Rangefinder
- Binoculars
- GOOD flashlight
- Small backpack
- Bow/gun/gear hanger for hanging your stuff (these are NOT provided)
- Bow/gun/gear rope for pulling up your equipment (these are NOT provided)
- All hunting clothes and boots
- Scent free soap / shampoo
- Water bottle
- Personal toiletries
- IOWA deer hunting license
- Gratuity - minimum 10%
Lodging & Meals
Lodging and meals are not provided with our Iowa hunts. Lodging is available in Chariton Iowa at Country Cabins or the Super 8 hotel. Most hunters stay at Country Cabins, but both options are within reasonable driving distance of all the properties. Chariton has a HYVEE grocery store along with multiple restaurants where you can get food.
onX Hunt App
You will be required to download onX Hunt app on your phone prior to your hunt. Myself and my guides will be providing stand locations on the properties you will be hunting via this app.
