Spring is hands down the best time to get your fall stand prep done while you can still see all of last season's sign before everything greens up. I recently got back from three solid days of working on two new properties and finishing up on some of my existing properties, along with planting my spring clover plots. We were able to completely set up a brand new property by putting up stands and all the prep that goes along with it.
We also spent a couple of days putting together enclosed blinds for my late season hunts on multiple different properties as well. I am super excited about these two new additional properties and we hung some amazing sets on both of them that I can't wait for hunters to use. I found lots of big rubs and big sign on both properties. Stacy found a big shed on each of the properties just while we were walking around hanging stands! Both of those bucks will definitely be pushing Boone this fall.
Now the wait to get cameras out and start getting some inventory on these and the rest of my Iowa properties. Back in Wisconsin now and working on stand prep here, along with scouting and laying out a new property here in Wisconsin as well.
